Amazon is revealing more of the cast for its upcoming God of War TV series. They’ve recently announced the actors who will portray Thor and Odin.
Ólafur Darri Ólafsson plays Thor while Mandy Patinkin takes the role of Odin.
One actor is famous for their work in Severance and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and the other is well-known for roles in The Princess Bride and Homeland.
They add to a growing cast list, which now looks like this:
- Kratos — Ryan Hurst
- Sif — Teresa Palmer
- Heimdall — Max Parker
- Thor — Ólafur Darri Ólafsson
- Odin — Mandy Patinkin
Here’s the premise of the TV series, which continues the story from the last two God of War games:
Kratos and his son, Atreus, travel together to scatter the ashes of their beloved wife and mother, Faye. During their journey, Kratos attempts to guide Atreus in becoming a strong and honorable god, while Atreus hopes to help his father reconnect with his humanity.
