Josh Allen Details Becoming a Dad Ahead of Baby With Hailee Steinfeld

For Josh Allen, becoming a dad is the ultimate touchdown.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, whose wife Hailee Steinfeld is expecting their first child, shared his plans for the off-season. He’ll be focusing on training while also preparing to become a father for the first time.

“I’ve known this from well in advance,” he told 13WHAM during a Jan. 29 Bills press conference. “I’ve got siblings that have kids, and I’ve got a lot of friends who have kids. I don’t know if you can plan too far in advance.”

The 29-year-old expressed his excitement about becoming a father and said that being a dad will be his top priority for a while.

He shared his excitement about becoming a father with his wife. He said he’ll approach the role with a lot of pride and that they’ll learn as they go, like with any new experience.

Josh shared that becoming a father is the most meaningful role he’ll ever have. While he enjoys playing football and being the Bills’ quarterback, he’s especially excited about becoming a dad.

His teammates appear to be understanding, having previously acknowledged his appreciation for their support when he and Hailee shared their pregnancy news.

She described turning 28 as a transformative year filled with both joy and valuable lessons. Reflecting on the past year, she realized just how fragile and precious life truly is.

The NFL player publicly confirmed his relationship with his partner by sharing photos on Instagram, including a picture of them at the Eiffel Tower, on July 23rd.

Included in that same post, the “Starving” singer squeezed in for a photo with Josh’s family. 

Reporter Kay Adams, on her show Up & Adams, affectionately dubbed him “Mr. Hard Launch.” When asked about his relationship with Hailee, he shyly responded, “We love love.”

Hailee and Josh announced their engagement on Instagram on November 29, 2024, with a photo of Josh proposing and Hailee accepting with a kiss. They revealed they got engaged on November 22, 2024, in the post’s caption.

 

Josh and Hailee quickly became a public couple, appearing together on the red carpet at the NFL Honors just months after getting engaged. While accepting his MVP award, Josh lovingly acknowledged Hailee in his speech.

He told her she was his biggest support and closest friend, adding that he wouldn’t have been able to achieve this moment without her.

The couple exchanged vows in a beautiful California wedding. The bride wore a strapless gown with elegant elbow-length gloves.
