You can snag a PlayStation 2 or original Xbox game for only $1 right now in a special, limited-time offer! 2006 was a huge year for gaming, with popular titles like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Gears of War, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, New Super Mario Bros, and Bully all being released. It was also a year that saw the launch of many new game franchises – Gears of War being the most well-known, but others like Just Cause also debuted that year.
The entire Just Cause series is currently on sale until February 4th! You can grab the original Just Cause for just $1, making it the best deal. Just Cause 2 is $1.49, Just Cause 3 is $2.99, and Just Cause 4 costs $5.79. All of these prices are the lowest they’ve ever been, except for Just Cause 4.
Square Enix Series Dirt Cheap
You can find games in the Avalanche Studios and Square Enix series on sale at Steam and the Humble Store. However, the discount on Just Cause 4 is only available through Steam.
The first Just Cause game launched in 2006, developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Eidos Interactive – before Square Enix acquired both the studio and the game series. While the original received mixed reviews, scoring between 67 and 75 on Metacritic, it sold well enough to warrant a sequel in 2010. Just Cause 2 was a breakthrough for the series, earning scores between 81 and 84 on Metacritic and establishing its popularity. However, that was the high point. Just Cause 3 arrived in 2015 with scores between 71 and 75, and the series has been quiet since the release of Just Cause 4 in 2018. Just Cause 4 received the lowest scores of the series, between 65 and 70, and is generally considered the weakest entry. Reports indicated that Just Cause 5 was in development, but it appears to have been cancelled last year.
Lowest Price for Just Cause Games
This is the best price you’ll likely find for the first three games in the series. Square Enix doesn’t often offer discounts beyond 90%, and these deals already range from 86% to 90% off, so prices are unlikely to drop further.
