Just seeing this character appear confirms that the upcoming sequel to WandaVision will reverse the shocking Scarlet Witch reveal from the original series. WandaVision, which launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s streaming shows, kept viewers guessing each week about the strange events happening within Wanda’s magically created reality. Eventually, it was revealed that Wanda created this alternate world to live the life she always dreamed of with Vision (Paul Bettany), who had passed away.
I’m so excited! It looks like we’re finally getting more of Vision’s story! Apparently, Vision will be back in 2026 in a new show called VisionQuest. It’s being created by the same person who brought us WandaVision, and it’s going to pick up after the ending of that show, with Vision trying to figure things out after being brought back as White Vision with no memories. It sounds like it’s going to really connect to what happened in WandaVision, which is awesome!

The upcoming WandaVision sequel, starring Elizabeth Olsen, will echo the original series by again featuring a storyline where someone builds their perfect partner, but this time with a new and unexpected angle.
As a huge Marvel fan, I’m thrilled to hear James Spader is returning as Ultron for VisionQuest! And it’s so cool they’re introducing Jacxosta, played by T’Nia Miller. Knowing their comic book history, I’m anticipating a really interesting dynamic between them, almost echoing the emotional journey we saw with Scarlet Witch in WandaVision. It seems like they’re really leaning into that complex relationship dynamic, which I’m totally here for.

In the story, Jacosta is an artificial being created by the villainous AI, Ultron. He designed and built her to be his ideal partner, and she assists him in his plans to take over the world.
This is very similar to the surprising reveal in WandaVision, where Elizabeth Olsen’s character, grieving the loss of Vision, essentially created a lifelike copy of him for herself.

The character Jacosta in VisionQuest is portrayed as a clever and strong robot motivated by a desire for revenge (according to Deadline). Considering Ultron is also appearing in the series, it’s likely Jacosta’s backstory will mirror her comic book origins – a robotic creation brought to life with vengeful intent.
The upcoming Disney+ series, VisionQuest, will follow White Vision, a new version of the Avenger Paul Bettany played in WandaVision. This White Vision has no memories of his past. The show will explore his journey as he encounters various robotic characters – both friends and enemies – including Ultron, Jocasta, Paladin, JARVIS, and FRIDAY.
Will VisionQuest Mix up the Jacosta Story?
I’m so excited to see Jacosta join the MCU! As a fan of the comics, it’s awesome to see another favorite character brought to life, and I’m really intrigued by how they might handle her story – it feels like they could be doing something special with her introduction.
Ultron originally created the female robot in the comics, and the upcoming Disney+ series might follow that storyline. However, Marvel Studios could also surprise fans with a new take on the character’s origins.
We’ve learned that T’Nia Miller’s character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is motivated by revenge. But it’s puzzling – if she’s a new character introduced in the recent series, what could she possibly be seeking revenge for?
What if Jacosta has been active before the start of VisionQuest? The story could be a twist on her established origin, showing her trying to revive a super-criminal partner instead of being created by Ultron.
It’s possible Ultron built Jacosta as a backup plan during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Ever since her husband, Vision, was destroyed, she’s been determined to find whoever was responsible.
