GungoHo, the publisher of the popular Trails series, recently released a gameplay trailer for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, which is expected to launch on PS5 this fall.
Okay, so if you’ve played any of the Trails games before, you pretty much know the deal with this remake. But honestly, the reason I’m so excited to show you this is to highlight just how much the series has improved over time. It’s a big jump!
The trailer cleverly switches between scenes from the classic Trails in the Sky SC and brand new gameplay from its sequel, creating a striking contrast. For dedicated fans of the Trails series, it’s a surprisingly dreamlike experience.
The second chapter of this game seems to be just as impressive as the first, building on its strong foundation. It’s the most visually appealing game developer Falcom has ever made, and the sequel looks equally beautiful.
