Two recently released AAA games from Electronic Arts (EA) are currently available on Steam for just around $4 each – an amazing deal considering they came out in 2023. One is priced at $4.19 and the other at $4.89. This huge 93% discount is available until February 10th, but it’s only for the PC version of the games. While these games are also available on consoles, these low prices are exclusive to Steam.
Okay, so I spotted a couple of good deals! First up is Wild Hearts by Omega Force. I remember seeing that one come out in February 2023, and most reviews put it around the 75-79 range on Metacritic. The other game is Immortals of Aveum from Ascendant Studios, which dropped in August 2023. It’s a first-person shooter, but with magic, and reviews were a bit more mixed, landing somewhere between 65 and 75 on Metacritic.
Immortals of Aveum
Immortals of Aveum is the first game from Ascendant Studios. It’s a single-player, first-person shooter where you play as Jak, a skilled magic user. He joins a special group of battlemages to protect the world from a dangerous threat.
If you’re wondering how long it takes to finish Immortals of Aveum, most players will spend between 14 and 20 hours. If you aim to complete everything, it’ll likely take around 30 hours. Currently, Valve has stated that the game is not supported on the Steam Deck.
Wild Hearts
Wild Hearts is a new game from Omega Force, the Japanese studio behind the popular Dynasty Warriors series, which began in 1996. It’s similar to Monster Hunter, tasking players with hunting enormous creatures using special technology, and can be played solo or with others online.
The action RPG typically takes between 40 and 55 hours to finish. Players who aim to complete everything will likely spend around 130 to 140 hours. Similar to another EA game, it isn’t compatible with the Steam Deck.
Both games are currently available at their all-time lowest prices, across all platforms, not just Steam. EA rarely discounts its games this deeply – with savings of 93% or more – so this is a great opportunity to grab them while they’re cheap. Keep in mind, though, that both titles are also included with an EA Play subscription.
