Gloria Estefan is ready to watch Bad Bunny conga his way to the Super Bowl.
Gloria Estefan, a veteran of two Super Bowl halftime shows (1992 and 1999), shared some advice for Bad Bunny on February 1st at the 2026 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. She spoke to him as he prepared to perform during the halftime show on February 8th.
Gloria told Keltie Knight during Live From TopMob: Grammys that people should savor every moment because time flies. She pointed out that being on stage only lasts about 12 minutes, so it’s important to appreciate it.
The 68-year-old artist, who had just won her fifth Grammy for Best Tropical Latin Album with her 2025 recording Raíces, said that preparing for those 12 minutes on stage is extremely demanding, but ultimately worthwhile.
Gloria explained that during those few minutes, he would have a huge opportunity to reach people all over the world. With billions watching, she admitted it was a little nerve-wracking.
But she had the utmost confidence in Bad Bunny, raving, “He’s gonna kill it, I’m sure.”
Gloria was excited that Bad Bunny’s album, DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS, received a nomination for Album of the Year, and she’s rooting for him to win.

Gloria started by saying she thought all the nominees for Album of the Year were fantastic and truly deserved to win.
She emphasized that Bad Bunny’s win was about more than just the award itself. It was important, she said, to celebrate and take pride in our identities and the contributions we make to the country and the world.
As Gloria pointed out, Bad Bunny’s nomination was a first for a Spanish-language album in this category, and a win would be historic.

“I love firsts, baby,” Gloria joked. “We got to have that first.”
Whether Bad Bunny will win the biggest award is still uncertain, but at 31, he’s already had success at the awards show. He’s nominated for several prizes, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year, and he already won Best Global Music Performance for his song “EoO.”
