Kelsea Ballerini will always put her heart first.
Singer Alisha Boe, known for her song “This Feeling,” attended the 2026 Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 1st. While on the red carpet, she talked about getting back together with Chase Stokes. (You can find photos of all the stars at the 2026 Grammys here.)
Kelsea and her partner announced they were splitting up in September 2025 after dating for two years, but they later got back together in December. Kelsea explained that the on-again, off-again relationship wasn’t as chaotic as it seemed to outsiders.
The singer told Entertainment Tonight that the situation seemed more intense publicly than it actually was. They added that it was a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.
Kelsea mentioned that Chase was there for her, helping her prepare for the important music event.
We’ve been together for a long time and shared many experiences. He was with me this morning while I was getting ready, and he’ll be there when it’s all over. I truly believe in and cherish love.
Kelsea Ballerini is having a great time lately, both in her personal life and with her career! She was excited to learn her 2024 album, Patterns, has been nominated for Best Contemporary Album at the 2026 awards. She’ll be competing against albums by Tyler Childers (Snipe Hunter), Eric Church (Evangeline Vs. The Machine), Jelly Roll (Beautifully Broken), and Miranda Lambert (Postcards From Texas).
The singer of “Heartfirst” shared some amazing news on her Instagram Stories: her album, Patterns, has been nominated for a Grammy!
This isn’t the first time Kelsea has received recognition from the Recording Academy. She was nominated for Best New Artist in 2017, a moment she’ll always remember.
Kelsea described it as one of the most amazing experiences of her life. She also admitted to feeling both thrilled and anxious about it, according to TopMob News.
Although Chance the Rapper ultimately won the award that year, Kelsea still had an unforgettable experience, especially considering she’s been nominated for the award five additional times since then.
In a 2017 interview with TopMob, she admitted she’d never actually attended the Grammys, saying she was ‘just a fan who’s watched it on TV every year.’
Kelsea added, “To be able to go this year and have a reason to go this year is insane.”
