Lady Gaga Declares Her Love For Michael Polansky During Grammys Speech

Lady Gaga won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2026 ceremony, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 1st with Trevor Noah as host. She gave a sweet shoutout to her fiancé, Michael Polansky, and shared a kiss with him before accepting the award.

Lady Gaga began her acceptance speech by thanking her partner, Michael. She shared that he supports her constantly and worked tirelessly with her on the album throughout the year, expressing her deep gratitude.

The 39-year-old, whose fiancé is also up for Album of the Year as a songwriter on her album Mayhem, simply said, “I love you and thank you.”

Lady Gaga, nominated for seven awards – including Record and Song of the Year – also shared some inspiring words for other women in the music industry.

She explained that working in a studio with a lot of people can be challenging. She encouraged everyone to trust their instincts and confidently advocate for their creative vision, their music, and their role as producers. It’s important to make sure your voice is heard.

Besides supporting women, Lady Gaga (born Stefani Germanotta) has consistently acknowledged Michael’s contributions to her album, praising him even before the Grammy Awards.

She shared on Instagram in September, after winning Artist of the Year at the MTV VMAs, that planning this album and collaborating with her team was an incredible experience. She especially appreciated how much they cared for and wanted to please her fans.

Lady Gaga shared, “It makes me so happy to see how much you all love them, because we experience that love together every day. It means a lot to me that you care about people feeling seen and understood, just as much as I do.”

Lady Gaga also shared how much she cherishes her relationship with Michael, recalling his unique proposal – a blade of grass – on April Fool’s Day in 2024.

She expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering love and support she receives. She noted the incredible effort and dedication put into their shared work – from early mornings to late nights – encompassing music, performances, and future plans. She feels incredibly fortunate to have such a devoted partner who works tirelessly alongside her, making her feel like the luckiest person in the world.
