Looks like Meri Brown is multiplying her love.
Now that she’s single after finalizing her divorce from Kody Brown after 32 years of marriage, the Sister Wives star has been sharing details about her new relationship with Ron.
Meri said on the TLC show that she enjoys spending time with Ron, describing him as a relaxed and easygoing person she feels comfortable around.
She didn’t want to share details about her romantic life, but she told Sukanya Krishnan that she and Ron are becoming good friends. She really enjoys being able to be herself when she’s with him, and feels completely comfortable around him.
Meri shared that while she and Ron, who she met during speed dating earlier this season, are taking their relationship slowly, she believes they could have a future together.
She playfully pointed out, “He’s really cute!” She added that she felt very at ease around him and genuinely enjoyed being with him.
The 55-year-old, who had a short relationship with a man named Amos after her split from Kody in 2023, didn’t want to share many specifics.
Ron and I aren’t dating, we just enjoy spending time together,” she explained with a laugh. “I think I need to ask him what he thinks about us talking about this!”
While Meri enjoys a new relationship, Kody—who is now only married to Robyn Brown after separating from Janelle Brown and Christine Brown—is surprisingly supporting his former wives.

He told Sukanya that watching Meri and Ron together seemed like a lot of fun. He said they had a good connection and it was sweet to see that initial spark when people first meet.
He explained that there’s just something captivating about watching it, regardless of the outcome. He hadn’t felt that kind of enjoyment in a while, and it was wonderful to see her genuinely happy and in her element.
Meri, who shares a 30-year-old child named Leon Brown with Kody, has been open about what she wants in a new relationship since their separation.
In a recent episode of Sister Wives, she explained that if someone is bothered by her loud laugh, they simply won’t understand her, and that’s okay – they’re just not a good fit for her.

This hasn’t been easy for Meri, especially since she was previously tricked in an online catfishing scam over ten years ago.
She mentioned on a podcast in May that she’s faced some dating challenges, believing some potential partners were hesitant because she grew up in a polygamist family. They seemed worried she might want the same lifestyle for them.
There’s so much up in the air right now, and I desperately need someone I can rely on and believe,” Meri explained. “I need to know that when someone says they love me, it’s genuine.”

The Coyote Pass deal became complicated because the family hadn’t resolved issues from their time in Las Vegas.
After Meri sold her large house in Las Vegas, she gave the money to Robyn so she could buy a similar house in Arizona. Janelle also contributed to the purchase.
Meri explained that the people featured in the January 18th One-on-One special purchased a home, and it thankfully increased significantly in value when they sold it.
Which is when she and Janelle made clear that their loan wasn’t exactly on the house.
When it was time to sell their land in Arizona, Kody explained that several financial issues hadn’t been resolved. Janelle and Meri had previously given him and Robyn money to help buy Robyn’s house, and Kody owned half of the proceeds from Meri’s former Las Vegas home. They wanted their share – 25% – of the Coyote Pass property, but Kody had invested extra money into it. They also wanted to be reimbursed for the money they gifted for Robyn’s house, but Kody felt he hadn’t been adequately compensated, and they were unable to reach an agreement.
Robyn mentioned they reached an agreement with Janelle. Janelle confirmed they had settled everything with her, but stated Meri hadn’t done the same.
Despite the issues, Kody kept assuring Meri she would eventually receive her payment. He stated, “Meri will get paid,” and added that he’d be upset because everyone had spent the whole time criticizing him instead of helping.

Robyn and Meri, who used to be close, are still facing tension. When asked why she didn’t warn Meri that Kody and Janelle might be making plans without her, Robyn explained on a recent special that she didn’t want to go against Kody’s wishes.
Robyn explained that if she and Meri had maintained a good relationship, she might be open to hearing an apology. However, because of past issues and broken trust, she’s not interested right now. She doesn’t understand why Meri damaged their connection so much.
Robyn believed the core of the problem was that Meri was upset with her, but Robyn didn’t understand why. Their friendship ended abruptly, and Robyn insisted she had no idea what changed. It seemed Meri became angry with Kody, and Robyn felt she was unfairly caught in the middle.

Turns out even Kody said “I do” to seeing his former bride marry her now-husband in October 2023.
He confessed on the January 18th episode that he attended their wedding and was happy for them the whole time. Seeing Christine so happy felt like a dream come true for her, he said.

Now that her divorce from Kody Brown is final, Janelle Brown shared in the season 20 premiere of Sister Wives that she’s taking a similar approach to Meri Brown.
Though they were married for 29 years, Christine was never legally married to Kody. She explained on the show’s premiere that she’d considered a ‘spiritual divorce’ years ago but didn’t know it was possible. When Meri pursued one, Christine asked her who she needed to contact to do the same.
Janelle’s former sister wife—who had previously been released from their church due to being left behind—gladly offered to help connect her with other family members. Janelle explained, ‘She’s been really helpful in getting me back in touch with everyone.’

Madison Brush is still dealing with the fallout from her father’s actions and their strained relationship. In the September 28th episode of the show, she shared that she continues to struggle with being estranged from her dad, Kody, and the impact it’s had on her. She is one of six children Kody shares with his former wife, Janelle.
Speaking candidly, the mother of four admitted she hopes her husband’s father will be present. She also expressed a desire for them to mend their relationship, acknowledging her own role in the situation and admitting she’s still working on managing her expectations and disappointment.
She’s finding it difficult to accept him as he is. She explained that she’s working on understanding he may not have known how to be there for her, and that he could be going through his own pain.
He also might not be willing to cede too much ground.
Kody expressed wanting to repair his relationships with Meri, Janelle, Christine Brown, and their kids. He feels like progress is stalled, saying any healing needs to happen if and how they choose.

Robyn Brown, Kody’s last remaining wife, says she always desired a family, not just a relationship with Kody himself. On the September 28th episode of the show, she shared that she’d received marriage proposals before – not grand gestures, but several men had expressed their willingness to marry her quickly.
She consistently stated her intention to enter a plural marriage, saying, “I told him, I want to live in a relationship with multiple partners.” She added that if Kody hadn’t already been married with three wives, she still would have expressed the same desire to him.
You know, after everything, Kody actually said to me, ‘It’s just you and me now.’ It was a surprising thing to hear, considering how things evolved, but it seems like he’s embracing a more traditional, one-on-one relationship – even if it wasn’t the original plan. It feels like a real shift for him, and honestly, a bit unexpected!
Though he admittedly had one concern.
Kody hinted to Robyn that he desired a more fulfilling intimate life. He later explained in a private interview that he believed polygamy allowed him to have everything he wanted, while monogamy left him feeling unfulfilled.

Meri is actively dating and has a clear idea of what she wants in a partner. She’s looking for a tall man who loves to travel and, importantly, prefers dogs over cats, as she shared on a recent episode of the show.
And she definitely needs someone who won’t scare easily.
She recounted a difficult dating experience, explaining that a man she was talking to ended the conversation as soon as he learned she practiced polygamy. He told her he wasn’t interested in continuing because of her lifestyle, which she found very hurtful. She felt rejected simply for being polyamorous and it made her question why he wouldn’t even consider a relationship with her despite that.
Meri explained that it was the first time she truly understood that some people wouldn’t even bother talking to her because of who she was.

Janelle believes she was the only one in her large family who really desired to settle on Coyote Pass.
On the October 3rd episode of the show, Janelle revealed she never really envisioned the whole family living on the 14-acre Coyote Pass property they bought before moving to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2018. She admitted she wasn’t sure it was ever truly her dream.
Although Kody’s second wife thought living there could work – she said it was a nice property and worth considering – she believed her ex-husband and his other wives were only temporarily interested in the idea.
She explained that no one was eager to live in that area, especially not Christine. Meri would have agreed to move if others had been willing to do so as well.
Janelle observed that Kody and Robyn’s former property, a two-acre home with five bedrooms that they recently sold for $1.7 million, felt unfinished despite being mostly built.
Janelle explained that despite all the arguing about dividing the land into four pieces, she quickly realized after moving to Flagstaff that it wouldn’t work out.

Kody believes he knows why his relationships with most of his adult children – excluding Robyn’s oldest, Dayton, and daughters Aurora and Breanna – aren’t very good.
He admitted on October 5th that he feels distant from most of his adult children. He explained that their relationships are difficult because of constant teasing and subtle jabs, which have damaged trust and created divisions between them.
And these days, not many of his grown kids are on Team Kody.
I’ve been following the Brown family for a while now, and it really hurt to hear Mykelti Padron, one of Kody’s kids with Christine, talk about everything. She and her husband, Tony, even moved all the way to North Carolina with their three kids, and after settling in for a few months, she finally shared her thoughts on what caused the big split. It was tough to hear, especially since she’d always seemed so supportive of her dad.
She observed during an October 2024 fan Q&A on Instagram (@withoutacrystalball) that his children—or at least some of them—might try to reconnect if he simply took responsibility for his actions. Instead of constantly blaming his kids, their feelings about his other relationship, or outside influences like gossip, she believes a sincere apology and willingness to discuss his mistakes—like saying, ‘I understand I messed up. I’m sorry. Can we talk?’—would make a huge difference.

When Coyote Pass was sold in April 2025, Janelle and Meri finalized their separations from Kody and received money from the sale. Christine had previously traded her share of the land to keep the profits from selling her house in Arizona.
On the October 5th episode, Janelle playfully told Meri it felt like saying, “Goodbye, and I don’t expect to see you again.”
But she certainly wouldn’t have waved off an even nicer present.
She stated that if she had been legally married to Kody, she would have rightfully claimed half of his possessions, as they would have been considered jointly owned.

Kody and Robyn had to finalize the sale of their Coyote Pass land before they could commit to buying a new $2.1 million home. After a long process of discussing the property with his former wives, Kody explained on the October 12th episode that selling Coyote Pass became possible once they decided they truly wanted the new house instead.
The father of eighteen children is also looking forward to leaving behind the painful memories associated with their old house. He explained, “We’ve gone through a lot of difficult times here, and we’re hoping for a fresh start – a completely new chapter in our lives.”

Kody believed that loving multiple wives should mean his affection could be shared among them all, but in reality, he found it difficult to give each wife equal attention. As he explained on the October 19th episode, he struggled to fully commit to each individual wife, and felt they didn’t always fully commit to him or to one another either. He felt his devotion wasn’t always reciprocated, either to him personally or among the wives as a group.
Looking back, he believes one mistake was giving Robyn a lavish lifestyle – a $1.65 million, five-bedroom house – while his other wives had more modest living arrangements. He admitted he doesn’t understand why his marriages to Meri, Janelle, and Christine failed, but he recognizes that providing Robyn with such a nice home created jealousy. He felt he had gone to great lengths to ensure Robyn’s security, and his other wives struggled with that disparity.

Christine found it difficult to relax around Kody. As she explained on the October 26th episode, he was a very demanding husband with a lot of particular needs and preferences – from what he ate to his personal grooming.
Bottom line, she noted, “It was a lot.”
Janelle isn’t eager to start a new relationship after her breakup with Kody. She admitted to Christine and her husband, David Woolley, that Kody required a lot of effort, and she believes relationships in general can be very challenging.
That’s why she’s pushing back against David’s suggestions that she join FarmersOnly. She explained to the cameras, ‘David just doesn’t understand that I’m not interested in dating right now. I keep telling him, ‘No, no, no!”

Christine explained that Kody was usually careful not to accidentally call his wives by the wrong name. She recalled that on the November 2nd episode, she shared how upsetting it would be to hear another wife’s name when it shouldn’t happen, and thankfully, Kody never made that mistake.
Though there were some close calls.
I often found myself doing that,” Kody confessed. “I definitely did it. I used to initiate arguments, then quickly change the subject or shift blame.”

To hear Christine tell it, she felt quite stabbed in the kidney by her former sister wife.
She told David on the November 2nd episode that she felt deeply betrayed by Robyn, explaining she’d lost all trust in her. She revealed she used to share private things with Robyn, but those confidences would often get her into trouble with Kody, leading him to be angry. Because of this, she stopped trusting Robyn and stopped sharing anything personal with her.
But Robyn insisted she was just trying to play marriage counselor.
Christine often told me she wished Kody understood what she was going through, and how much she was struggling. I was young and thought I could fix things by helping, but now I realize it would have been better to just let it be.

Although Meri used to be flattered by Kody treating her like his preferred former wife, she wasn’t interested in chatting when he video-called about possibly selling their house in Arizona.
He reflected on a conversation with Janelle, recalling that things used to be good with Meri – he specifically remembered helping her move to Parowan, Utah, and having a pleasant time. However, he noted that their relationship has become strained and awkward since then.
Meri maintained she was only interested in business matters, especially after remembering what Kody had shared on camera in earlier seasons.
I had to be firm and set clear limits with him,” she said. “It’s frustrating when he acts like everything is okay on these video calls, being friendly and pretending nothing happened, especially after the hurtful things he’s said about me and my friends. I won’t tolerate that.

Christine happily accepted her now-husband David’s proposal last year, but her ex-spouse believes he should have been consulted beforehand.
Kody explained that his youngest daughter, Truely, lives with David, and he feels he should get to know him better.
In fact, he mused, he “should have had the right, even, to discriminate David.”

Janelle was happy to get her part of the Coyote Pass property back and wasn’t upset about the money she’d already given to Robyn and Kody towards their house in Arizona.
She explained on the November 2nd episode that her children think she should try to recover the money she invested in Robyn’s house, but she anticipates a difficult legal battle to do so.
She explained that trying to get money from Kody is difficult, because he always has a long list of excuses for why he doesn’t owe it.
He believed he’d already fulfilled his obligation to Janelle. He explained, “Janelle helped us buy our house, and I paid her back in January.” He recalled that shortly after, in either January or February, she told him, “We’re even – you’ve more than covered it.”

Should Kody still be interested in having his love multiplied, there’s no shortage of options.
He told Robyn on November 2nd that he’d received another email from a woman inquiring about plural marriage.
He told Robyn that his former wife was upset with his decision to end their plural marriage. Then, surprisingly, she offered to become part of their family, essentially asking if she could join him and Robyn. He described it as her confronting him and then offering to get to know them with the intention of becoming another wife.
To be honest, Robyn didn’t immediately reject the idea. She later confessed that for a moment, she wondered if it could actually be what she’d always dreamed of, and if it would be a good fit.
Ultimately, though, it was a no.
Honestly, I was really bothered that they contacted Kody directly. It just doesn’t feel right to approach him like that. The way things work in this family, you’re supposed to go through the other wives first – it’s just the respectful thing to do, and it feels like a major breach of etiquette when they don’t.

Even though Kody admits his strained relationship with his child is a major family issue, he needs to make significant changes to improve things.
On the November 9th episode of the show, Janelle revealed that Maddie didn’t tell her father, Kody, about her fourth pregnancy. Janelle explained that there was no need to inform him since they hadn’t spoken in two or three years, and he would find out eventually.

Janelle didn’t just want a relationship with Kody; she also desired a connection with his existing family. Meri recalled that when Janelle married Kody three years into his marriage with her—after a short marriage to Meri’s brother—Janelle seemed considerate of her feelings. Meri shared on the November 9th episode that Janelle appeared to be intentionally kind and inclusive, wanting to avoid hurting her.
Meri admitted that she felt jealous and a mix of other emotions as they navigated the challenges of trying to make plural marriage work. She also said it made her feel valued that her wife was willing to put in the effort.

Meri doesn’t back down easily. However, things became complicated when the family agreed to sell Coyote Pass, the 14-acre property they bought after relocating to Arizona.
During the November 16th episode, Meri said the problem seemed to be about making sure the correct people were listed as owners on the properties. She added that she didn’t understand why the paperwork couldn’t have simply been signed and finalized.
She was also puzzled by another of Kody’s moves.
She explained, clearly upset, that he was blaming her for the delays and claiming she was the one causing the problem. She clarified that the real issue was their insistence that she sign a confidentiality agreement, which she refused to do. She questioned why they were trying to keep her from speaking openly about the situation.
To hear Robyn tell it, though, their discussions were nothing to howl about.
Meri and I have always been able to speak openly with each other,” she said. “I was simply trying to understand what she needed, and I always want what’s best for her.

Christine says having more money has made life much easier. As a mother of six, she vividly remembers the stress of not having enough money for even basic groceries.
She explained that it’s really awkward when you get to the cash register and realize you’ve spent more money than you have. You might be able to write a check, but it would likely bounce, forcing you to return some items.
Other times they had to walk back plans to pay for certain essentials.
Meri explained that they used to have regular meetings—either weekly or monthly—to decide which bill was the most urgent to pay.

Robyn was determined to ensure everyone received a fair share of the money from the sale of Coyote Pass. As she explained on the November 23rd episode, she insisted that she, Kody, Janelle, and Meri each get a quarter of the profits, and she wasn’t afraid to strongly disagree with Kody to make that happen. She admitted they had several heated arguments about it.
Ultimately, Kody explained that when the 14-acre property was sold in April 2025, they decided to simply divide the proceeds equally – giving each person 25 percent.

Janelle didn’t explicitly say Kody had a mid-life crisis, but she mentioned on the November 23rd episode that his behavior changed after turning a significant age.
Janelle explained that around the time Kody turned 50 and was married to his fourth wife, Robyn, he began to complain about the burden of supporting the entire family. She believes he saw Robyn as his true soulmate and felt overwhelmed by the effort of maintaining four marriages.
But Kody took issue with the idea that he didn’t put in the work.
He firmly stated that he’d always fulfilled his duties within the family. He consistently gave his all and felt he hadn’t received the same level of commitment in return from his relatives.
He joked that dealing with his three divorcing wives felt like everyone was going through menopause at the same time. He explained it by saying men can experience hormonal changes too, and he likely lost motivation because his testosterone levels dropped and he didn’t want to put in the effort anymore.

When Janelle Brown’s mother, Sheryl Usher, first found out her daughter was considering plural marriage, she initially tried to intervene. Janelle explained that her mom “came to save me from the polygamists” because she didn’t want her daughter involved in what she considered a dangerous group. However, in a surprising turn of events, Sheryl ended up marrying Kody Brown’s father, Winn Brown, actually tying the knot three months before Janelle and Kody did.
Their marriage definitely made the family relationships more complex. Janelle admitted she initially had some reservations, saying, “I thought it would be a bit difficult to explain, but I accepted it.” She added that it felt strange at first, but ultimately she was glad to have another person to share things with.

Ysabel Brown says she wishes she had spent more one-on-one time with her father, Kody. On a recent episode of the show, she explained that she and her dad aren’t particularly close.
Ysabel shared that her mom is amazing at being both a mother and a father, and her stepfather, David, is also wonderful.
Despite their difficulties, Ysabel didn’t say her relationship with Kody was broken. “He’s still my dad, and I still love him,” she explained.

Though Janelle still feels the family had something special, that spark wasn’t apparent early on.
Janelle felt hurt that her ex-husband didn’t always support her, especially early in their relationship, often siding with others instead. Combined with existing issues like jealousy and insecurity they were trying to overcome, it created a difficult dynamic for them both.
Janelle Brown became pregnant with her first child, Logan, less than a year after marrying Kody, and around the time he was frequently traveling for work. She remembers that his absence meant she had to focus on maintaining harmony and, as a result, felt she lost touch with who she was.

If Kody wanted to have a good relationship with Meri after their split, he needed to get along with her friends. He helped her move after they separated, hoping they could remain kind to each other, as he explained on a recent show. However, he was disappointed to find her friends were openly critical of him.
He explained that he confronted her aggressively over the phone, telling her to make her friends stop talking. He admitted to scolding her friends, and believes she was deeply hurt by it.
Kody explained that conversations quickly become heated and difficult for them. He said they never learned to handle conflict during their marriage, and if they want to have any kind of relationship going forward, they’ll need to find a way to manage these explosive interactions.

Although Christine and Kody are no longer married, they’ll remain family due to their surprising genetic connection. As Christine revealed on December 28th, they are actually third cousins once removed, a legally recognized relationship.
Janelle explained that the connection between them became a running joke within the family, though they weren’t closely related at all. She believes this kind of thing happens frequently in polygamous communities. It wasn’t a relationship where they’d see each other at gatherings; they were very distant relatives. Still, they always playfully referred to each other as cousins, simply because it was such a small, interconnected community.
