Netflix’s One Piece Highlights the Straw Hats With Season 2 New Look

The live-action One Piece series is returning to Netflix this Spring, and a new preview of the Straw Hat crew has just been released. The new season, officially titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, continues the story from the first season. It will follow Luffy and his crew as they begin their journey into the dangerous and legendary Grand Line, showcasing their adventures on the first few islands they encounter.

The live-action adaptation of One Piece is returning to Netflix this March with a new season, titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line. This season will conclude the East Blue storyline and begin the Straw Hat crew’s journey into the Grand Line, setting the stage for the Alabasta saga. The first season of One Piece: Into the Grand Line will premiere worldwide on Netflix on March 10th. The new season consists of eight episodes and covers the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island storylines from the original One Piece manga. Viewers will also meet important new characters who will become key players in the live-action series going forward.

Mikaela Hoover, Lera Abova, Charithra Chandran, David Dastmalchian, Camrus Johnson, Jazzara Jaslyn, Daniel Lasker, Sophia Anne Caruso, and Joe Manganiello are among the new actors joining the cast of One Piece: Into the Grand Line. They will play characters like Tony Tony Chopper, Miss All Sunday, and Mr. 0, and audiences can expect to see even more new faces as the story explores new islands this season.

What’s Next for One Piece on Netflix?


As of today, Season 3 of the live-action One Piece series is in production with Netflix. While a release date hasn’t been announced yet, the creator, Eiichiro Oda, has confirmed that Season 3 will cover the Alabasta storyline. Joe Manganiello (playing Mr. 0), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday), Mikaela Hoover (Tony Tony Chopper), and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefartari Cobra) will all have larger roles in the new season.

As production begins on season three of One Piece, new cast members have been revealed! Xolo Maridueña will play Portgas D. Ace, Cole Escola is Bon Clay, Awdo Awdo will be Mr. 1, and Daisy Head joins as Miss Doublefinger. With season two building towards the events of season three, now’s a good time to get caught up with the series.
