Movie studios are once again using the Super Bowl to showcase trailers for their upcoming films. With hundreds of millions of viewers expected for Super Bowl 2026 – featuring the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks – the commercial breaks offer a prime opportunity to generate excitement for new releases.
However, studios didn’t reveal all the trailers during the Super Bowl broadcast itself. A few were released online beforehand. Here’s a collection of all the trailers that debuted around Super Bowl 2026, with more still on the way.
2. Scream 7
Paramount released a short preview of Scream 7 online before the Super Bowl. The clip, which is under a minute long, features some new scenes with Ghostface, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), and other characters. However, a lot of the footage had already been shown in the first Scream 7 trailer.
Now that Scream 7 is coming to theaters on February 27th, Paramount is letting fans know tickets will be available starting February 9th, right after the Super Bowl.
1. Michael
Lionsgate doesn’t typically advertise during the Super Bowl, but they’re making a big push for the new Michael Jackson movie. They’ve secured a spot during the game and, to build excitement, released the official trailer online the Monday before the Super Bowl, rather than waiting for the event itself.
The trailer features a lot of new footage of Jaafar Jackson, who is Michael Jackson’s nephew, portraying the legendary singer. It opens with the song “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough” and transitions to “Billie Jean” later on. The trailer also highlights Michael Jackson’s journey to stardom and his family life. The movie Michael will be released in theaters on April 24th.
