Sherri Shepherd is receiving all of the love.
Following the recent announcement that her talk show, SHERRI, will conclude after its current season, the comedian shared how she’s been coping with the news.
Sherri shared on Instagram on February 3rd that she’s been feeling overwhelmed with support for herself and her show, The Sherri Show. She explained that she hadn’t been feeling her best the past couple of days and recently tested positive for COVID-19.
Even though she wasn’t feeling well, the 58-year-old told her fans she had seen all their supportive messages and would explain why she had to cancel things when she felt better.
I’ll talk about everything that’s been happening as soon as I’m feeling better and back on the show. Until then, I’m so thankful you’re all enjoying SHERRI! I’ll be back soon. #sherrishepherd #sherrishowtv #grateful #itsnotover
After launching in 2022 following the conclusion of The Wendy Williams Show, Sherri will air its final episode this fall. Production company Debmar-Mercury announced the show’s end while also highlighting its achievements.
According to a statement released on February 2nd, this decision is due to changes in the daytime TV market. The statement emphasized that the decision isn’t a reflection of the show’s quality, its successful production this season, or the talent of Sherri Shepherd.

Amid the news of her show’s end, Sherri had the support of her famous friends and colleagues.
Comedian’s close friend, Niecy Nash-Betts, commented on a recent post, repeating ‘Not over!’ and adding, ‘You achieved your dream, and I’m so proud! Now let’s move forward and build something you truly own and control.’
Daytime talk show host Tamron Hall also praised Sherri Shepherd’s success, pointing out that her new show is just one example of all she’s achieved.
Tamron congratulated me on finishing my first children’s book! She also pointed out how much I’ve been doing – a comedy tour, a podcast, and taking over a daytime show to make it my own – and admitted she was exhausted just listing it all! She’s excited for what’s next and sent her love.
