Netflix recently released a new trailer giving fans a first glimpse of what to expect. What to Know for Sakamoto Days Live-Action Movie
The live-action movie adaptation of Sakamoto Days will be released in Japan on April 19th. As of now, there’s no news about when it will be available in other countries. Yuichi Fukuda is writing and directing the film, with Keiya Tabuchi handling the action sequences. The movie, which was first announced last year, is coming together quickly and is already scheduled for release.
I’m so excited about the live-action Sakamoto Days movie! They’ve got an amazing cast lined up – Ren Meguro is playing Taro Sakamoto, and Fumiya Takahashi will be Shin Asakura. We’ll also see Aya Ueto as Aoi Sakamoto, Miyu Yoshimoto as Hana, Mayu Yokota as Lu Shaotang, and so many other great actors taking on our favorite characters like Heisuke Mashimo (Junki Tozuka), Nagumo (Takumi Kitamura), and more! From what I’ve seen, it really looks like they’re capturing the same over-the-top, hilarious action we all love from the anime and manga.
Is Sakamoto Days Going to End Soon?
The manga series Sakamoto Days is heading towards its conclusion, as it’s currently in the final story arc created by Yuto Suzuki. This final arc began last summer, and with each new chapter, the climactic battles are intensifying. While the exact number of chapters remaining is still unknown, it’s a major reason for fans to follow the story closely as it wraps up.
The first season of the anime Sakamoto Days is now available on Netflix. A second season has been confirmed, following the conclusion of the first last year. While a release date hasn’t been announced yet, the new season will also stream on Netflix when it’s released.
