Luther movie casts Game of Thrones and Harry Potter legends as fans await Alice Morgan return

It’s been three years since ‘Luther: The Fallen Sun’ came out on Netflix, and now the planned sequel is starting to come together, with more actors officially joining the cast.

I’m really excited about the cast they’ve assembled for this film! We’ve got Stephen Dillane, who I always remember from Game of Thrones, and Ian Hart, of course known for his work in the Harry Potter films. Anya Chalotra, who was fantastic in The Witcher, is joining them, as is Kyle Soller from Andor. And I’m thrilled to see Niamh Algar, who I really enjoyed in The Iris Affair, is also part of the project. It’s a seriously talented group!

This new project brings together Algar and Neil Cross, the creator of Luther and The Iris Affair. The roles the new cast members will play haven’t been announced yet.

Joining Idris Elba, Ruth Wilson, and Dermot Crowley – who are all reprising their popular roles from the original BBC show – are some new additions to the cast.

Brittany Wilson is coming back, and with her, her popular character Alice! Fans haven’t seen Alice since the end of season 5, where it looked like she died. But both Wilson and show creator Cross have hinted that her fate might not be what it seemed.

A new Luther movie is coming soon, and it starts with a string of violent and mysterious killings in London. Luther is brought out of retirement in secret to investigate, but he quickly finds himself in danger, as it seems many people want him gone.
