The recent Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase ended with exciting news from Bethesda Softworks and Todd Howard: several big games are on their way to the Switch 2. First up is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, developed by MachineGames. While already available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, it will launch on Nintendo’s system on May 12th.
Watch the first trailer below! This new adventure takes place between the first and second Indiana Jones movies. Harrison Ford’s character, voiced by Troy Baker, is investigating a global mystery called the Great Circle. The Nazis, led by Emmerich Voss, are also after it, hoping to harness its power.
In a desperate race against the clock, Jones needs to find what he’s looking for or face deadly consequences. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is played mostly from Jones’s perspective, though the camera occasionally shifts to a third-person view. It’s an immersive action game where you can choose to sneak, use the environment to create distractions, fight hand-to-hand (or with his famous whip), and climb across different structures.
Okay, so the Nintendo Switch 2 is finally up for pre-order today! If you’re curious about how it stacks up, I’ve got a review of the PS5 version you can check out. Also, there’s this DLC called The Order of Giants that looks pretty cool, but even if you skip that, the game just got a big update with New Game+ so there’s plenty to keep you busy!
