I’m so excited! Finally, we have a date for when we can watch Predator: Badlands! 20th Century Studios just announced it will be streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ starting February 12, 2026. And that’s not all – they’re putting every Predator movie, including Prey and the awesome animated anthology Predator: Killer of Killers, together in one place on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+! It’s going to be a Predator marathon!
Directed by Dan Tractenberg, Predator: Badlands tells the story of a young Predator named Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) who teams up with a synthetic human named Thia (Elle Fanning) to survive on a dangerous alien world. Released in theaters on November 7, 2025, Predator: Badlands became the most successful film in the Predator series, earning $184.5 million globally – beating the previous record of $177.4 million set by Alien vs. Predator in 2004. The film received positive reviews, with an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. You can watch the official trailer below.
‘Predator: Badlands’ Arrives in the Traditional Disney+ Streaming Window
The new movie Predator: Badlands will be streaming on Disney+ 97 days after it was shown in theaters. Disney has generally been releasing its films on the platform about 90 days after their theatrical release. You could already rent or buy the movie digitally starting January 6, 2026, and it will be available on DVD, Blu-ray, and Ultra HD Blu-ray beginning February 17, just five days after it starts streaming on Disney+.
The release of Predator: Badlands on Hulu is well-timed for the Valentine’s Day and Presidents’ Day weekend. Since Disney and 20th Century Studios don’t have any major theatrical releases during the holiday, Predator: Badlands is their main offering for viewers at home. They’re hoping the film will attract a large streaming audience, which will then boost interest in future Predator movies that people will want to see in cinemas.

The Predator series is experiencing a creative comeback. Director Dan Trachtenberg’s three films – Prey, Predator: Killer of Killers, and Predator: Badlands – have received some of the best reviews the sci-fi horror franchise has seen in its almost 40 years. Currently, there are no confirmed plans for a Predator: Badlands sequel or another film from Trachtenberg. However, there’s been talk about a potential new Alien vs. Predator movie.
