Elizabeth Olsen & Miles Teller A24 Drama Sets Streaming Premiere

The romantic comedy Eternity, featuring Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, and Callum Turner, will premiere on Apple TV on February 13, 2026. The film, directed by David Freyne, centers on Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) who, after death, must decide whether to spend eternity with her husband (Miles Teller) or her long-lost first love (Callum Turner), who has been waiting for her in the afterlife.

I finally saw Eternity when it came out on November 26th, 2025, and I really enjoyed it! Critics seemed to agree, giving it a pretty solid 77% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Juan Barquin from MovieWeb gave it a 7/10, and I totally get why – Elizabeth Olsen is fantastic in it and really carries the whole film. It’s as entertaining as it is thought-provoking. Financially, it did well too – with a budget of $12 million, it made $16.2 million domestically and $18.7 million internationally, bringing the worldwide total to $34.9 million.

Why is ‘Eternity’ Going to Apple TV Instead of HBO Max Like Other A24 Titles?

A24

Even though A24 has a streaming deal with HBO Max, the movie Eternity will actually be available on Apple TV. This is because Apple Studios helped produce Eternity, which gives them the rights to stream it. This adds another film to Apple TV’s growing collection, which already includes romantic comedies like Fly Me to the Moon and Flora & Son, and big hits like Killers of the Flower Moon and the Best Picture-nominated F1.

The movie Eternity will be available to stream on Apple TV 79 days after it hits theaters. The release date is strategically planned for February 13th, just in time for Valentine’s Day, and also allows viewers a longer weekend to watch with the President’s Day holiday. It will be a different option for streaming compared to Predator: Badlands, which comes out on Disney+ and Hulu the day before on February 12th.

While Eternity wasn’t a blockbuster in 2025, it was a standout film for A24. Now, streaming is expected to help it find a wider audience. Romantic comedies, once a staple of movie theaters, have recently found success on streaming platforms – a film like People We Meet on Vacation on Netflix proved that in 2026. Eternity benefits from both: it had a theatrical run and now can reach even more viewers online, similar to how many popular rom-coms from the 90s and 2000s became hits on home video.
