Look, I’m a huge Ridge Racer fan, and it’s getting harder and harder to hope for a new game from Bandai Namco. So, if they’re not going to give us something fresh, the next best thing would be to have all the classic Ridge Racer titles available on our current consoles and PCs. That way, we can still enjoy those amazing games!
I’m really excited about what Hamster Corporation is doing with their Arcade Archives series! They brought the original Ridge Racer to PS5 and PS4 last year, and now they’re releasing the sequel, Rave Racer soon. It’s awesome to be able to play these classic arcade games at home!
For the first time ever, this game is coming to home consoles! It will be available on February 26, 2026, and there are already versions available for PS5 (Arcade Archives 2) and PS4 (Arcade Archives).
If you’re into your arcade racing games, there aren’t many that get more arcade than this.

The video also reveals Console Archives, a new series from Hamster that will bring back classic games from older consoles.
The first two games launch on PS5 on 14th February, 2026. They are:
- Cool Boarders
- Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos
Players can also look forward to games like Doraemon, Sonic Wings Special, UFO: A Day in the Life, Nobunaga’s Ambition, and Monster Rancher Hop-A-Bout.
