Bianca Censori Compares Kanye West Marriage Struggles to “Doing CPR”

The architect recently shared, for the first time, how her husband’s battle with mental health issues and bipolar disorder affected their relationship.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair published on February 6th, Bianca—who married Kanye West in 2022 following his divorce from Kim Kardashian—explained that the past year felt like a constant struggle to help someone in crisis. She shared this while visibly upset, saying it was ‘like doing CPR for months.’

Bianca shared that she supported her husband over the past year while he dealt with a bipolar diagnosis, the consequences of his previously made antisemitic remarks – for which he has since apologized – and his public discussion of their personal life.

She explained that she cares deeply for him and can accept his choices, even though she knows not everyone will understand.

Bianca confessed she once thought about ending her relationship with the Grammy-winning artist when their connection felt shallow. But she decided to remain committed and support him during this new phase of his life.

She explained that he needs time and space to work through things and make things right. She’s committed to supporting him, loving him, and being there for him, adding that they have a very deep connection and are incredibly alike.

Let me tell you, I’ve heard all the rumors, but Bianca and I have talked, and I can assure you their connection is genuine. She’s truly with him because of who he is, not for any superficial reasons like status. It’s lovely to see a relationship built on real feelings, despite what people might say!

“I didn’t marry my husband to advance my career or gain any kind of advantage,” she explained to Vanity Fair. “I married him simply because I love him. I know that sounds really cheesy!”

The model explained that being around the rapper frequently, since she worked for his Yeezy brand, was a major factor in how they first connected and developed their relationship.

Bianca explained they were simply spending a lot of time together. They were constantly connected, either talking on the phone or physically with each other.

She added, “We’re so similar.”

Bianca has said she wants to have children with the rapper, who already shares four kids—North (12), Saint (10), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6)—with Kim, at some point down the line.

Until then, she marvels at the relationship Kanye has with his children.

She described him as a fantastic dad, someone who’s playful and goes all-out for his kids. She recalled a time he filled a room with foam so they could bounce around, which she thought was incredibly sweet, especially from a child’s perspective.

Despite recent rumors about trouble in their marriage – sparked by claims West made about Censori’s mother in a legal document from a former employee – the couple were seen enjoying a shopping trip in Tokyo. They seemed happy and relaxed, smiling and showing affection for each other as they walked around a mall.

Okay, so I was watching the Grammys, and let me tell you, Kim Kardashian and Tyga made quite the entrance! Kim really turned heads on the red carpet. She actually removed this huge coat she had on, and underneath she was wearing a nearly see-through dress – it was a super bold and daring look, definitely a moment!

After their photo moment, the duo left the venue, opting not to stay for the ceremony itself.  

After the Grammys, Kanye West posted a tribute to his wife, Bianca Censori, and their evening together. In a now-deleted Instagram post, he stated, “Just to be clear, my wife is currently the most searched person on Earth.”

In his song “BIANCA,” Kanye West alluded to difficulties in his marriage, rapping about his wife leaving him and attempting to have him involuntarily committed to a hospital. He stated he wasn’t ill, simply confused by the situation.

Shortly after his new song came out, he fueled speculation about getting back together with Censori by sharing pictures of them together online.

Although rumors of a divorce circulated earlier this year, the couple spent the summer showing they were still together, even enjoying a date at Denny’s.
