The newest update for No Man’s Sky is here (apologies to those hoping for news on Light No Fire!), and it’s a big one. Called Remnant, it centers around collecting salvaged materials from planets. While that might not sound thrilling, the addition of a gravity gun definitely changes things!
It’s not quite the Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2, but the Gravitino Coil is a new addition to the Multi-Tool that works similarly. It lets you easily grab metallic objects, but you can also use it to catch Sentinel drones mid-flight and launch them around.
All the materials you gather will need to be moved around, and that’s where the Colossus Exocraft comes in handy. This truck-like vehicle isn’t just for carrying things – you can even add incinerators to destroy waste directly on board. Plus, with an Excavation Blade, you can drive through resource deposits and collect materials as you go. And, of course, you can customize its appearance, interior, and even add unique parts like spider legs!
The latest update, Remnant, adds a lot to the already massive No Man’s Sky, including new things to discover and a new Expedition centered around salvaging. And there’s more on the way, so keep an eye out for future announcements!
