Though Reanimal is launching soon, Tarsier Studios is already planning ahead with downloadable content. The first of three planned chapters for the Expanded World DLC is expected to arrive in Summer 2026. While a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, it’s great news for fans of the studio’s unique horror style, previously seen in Little Nightmares, which continues with Reanimal.
If you’re new to this exciting game, you’ll play as two siblings trying to escape a distorted and dangerous version of their home – a place that used to be safe but now feels like a nightmare. They’re also on a mission to save their friends. Reanimal takes everything players loved about the Little Nightmares games and expands on it, offering a more intense and challenging experience.
Okay, so I’ve been playing this game, and the graphics are seriously amazing thanks to Unreal Engine 5. But it’s not just pretty; the story really digs into some tough stuff about growing up, and it does it really well. I’m super hyped to see what happens in the first bit of DLC! Honestly, I’d suggest playing with a buddy – the game’s even better with a friend, and they’re adding a Friend’s Pass later on. But if you like to play alone, that’s cool too… just maybe keep a nightlight handy, because some parts are a little spooky!
