As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve got some exciting news about my favorite life sim game, inZOI! Krafton and inZOI Studio have revealed that we can expect the first major DLC for this captivating game at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event on August 19. This trailer will unveil a host of new features, but what has me buzzing is the introduction of the stunning Cahaya map, inspired by the vibrant tropical cities across Southeast Asia. Can’t wait to explore this new territory!
Following the Opening Night Live event, Krafton is additionally planning an interactive booth at Gamescom from August 20th to August 24th. This is a great opportunity for players to experience the new content coming soon to inZOI, as they can test it out using hands-on demos due to the upcoming DLC release. The publisher also plans to organize on-site programs and events where attendees will have chances to win prizes.
Information about the launch of Cahaya was disclosed in June, and it was confirmed by producer and director Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim that it would be released on inZOI in August. The town of Cahaya, previously known as Kucingku, offers a variety of recreational activities for players to enjoy during their gameplay.
As a gamer, I’ve found solace in crafting my latest creation, inZOI. Yet, even the most captivating games can leave one yearning for respite. Drawing inspiration from my own longings, I set out to design a sanctuary – Cahaya – where players could escape the relentless rhythm of everyday life and find tranquility amidst its cityscape themed around ‘rest’.
With the upcoming update, there’s lots of fresh content coming to inZOI. However, it’s been decided not to incorporate certain features that fans have requested, such as enhancements to the job system and schools. As per the director, Cahaya was intended as a peaceful destination for players, so jobs and schools didn’t align well with the expansion’s themes, which prioritize relaxation.
Therefore, they won’t be part of our city at all,” he clarified. “Instead, players have the opportunity to live independently by engaging in activities like farming and fishing. The job system is set for enhancements as we prepare for our next city update.
With the upcoming update, inZOI is set to receive several enhancements, among which is an advanced system for emotional expressions that aims to make Zoi’s interactions appear more genuine and lifelike. This improvement should lead to a deeper connection between Zoi and its users as well.
Since its launch during Early Access in March, inZOI has seen numerous upgrades. The latest version of the game introduced a variety of fresh elements, one of them being the incorporation of child characters into the game.
inZOI is currently available for PC via Steam Early Access. For more details, check out our review.
