Originally known as Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, or simply Gundam Wing, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing remains a hugely popular part of the Gundam franchise even today, over three decades after its release. It’s therefore not surprising that many of its collectibles, particularly those featuring the iconic robots, are being reissued after being unavailable for years.
Bandai is bringing back two popular action figures from its Metal Composite line, both based on the classic anime Gundam Wing. These figures perfectly recreate the main robot from the show in both of its forms, with impressive detail. Though released slightly after the 30th anniversary of the anime, they’re highly sought-after collectibles and fans now have another opportunity to purchase them.
Gundam Wing Soars Again With Major Bandai Action Figure Re-Releases in February

The GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE Wing Gundam (EW Version) Early Color ver. is a re-release of a highly detailed figure. Its design reflects the original appearance of the Wing Gundam from the Gundam Wing anime series, rather than the updated look featured in the New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz OVA.
This collectible figure, known as “Early Type,” is a little over 7 inches tall and made from durable ABS and PVC plastic. It comes with a shield, Beam Saber, Buster Rifle, and energy cartridges, and can transform into Neo Bird Mode. It’s available for around $190 through a lottery system. You can apply for the lottery until February 24, 2026, and winners will be announced on February 26.
The “GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE Wing Gundam Zero (EW Version) Noble Color Ver.” figure is available for purchase again after three years. This version boasts a richer, more luxurious color scheme, building on the already detailed design. Standing at approximately 6.6 inches tall, it’s made with the same high-quality materials as other figures in the line, but features a more streamlined color application on the chest and torso.
This Wing Gundam Zero (EW Version) figure includes a shield, a Buster Rifle that can separate into two pieces, and an exclusive Messer Zwerg weapon, offering a larger firepower option. It also features two different Neo Bird Mode configurations, including a special “Zero Mode.” The “GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE Wing Gundam Zero (EW Version) Noble Color Ver.” will be available for around $205 to those selected in a lottery, and the application period is currently open.
In 2025, Gundam Wing celebrated its 30th anniversary. It’s still considered the most popular Gundam series in Western countries.
