Vera Wang Unveils Platinum Blonde Hair Transformation at BAFTAs 2026

Vera Wang has blonde ambition.

The well-known designer revealed a bold new look at the 2026 BAFTA Awards, arriving at the London event on February 22nd with blonde hair.

Vera surprised everyone with a bold new look, trading her usual brown hair for platinum blonde with visible dark roots. She completed the transformation with a white, fitted dress and a black bolero jacket featuring dramatic, oversized shoulders and long sleeves that extended like opera gloves.

The 76-year-old completed her outfit with her trademark large black sunglasses while posing for photos at the glamorous awards show.

Vera recently shared her tips for staying youthful, and then wowed fans with her look at the BAFTAs.

Vera shared with TopMob News at the DKMS Gala in October 2025 that she believes hard work is incredibly valuable. She explained that staying busy with work is a great way to stay mentally and physically engaged, and it’s something she always emphasizes to others.

She doesn’t have any strict rules for her daily beauty routine, but she really emphasizes the importance of getting exercise.

Vera mentioned she enjoys working out whenever she has the time, though she admits she’s not always consistent. She explained that her hectic schedule is mostly due to work, which is also what motivates her.

The wedding dress designer, who has two daughters – Cecilia, 33, and Josephine, 30 – with her former husband, Arthur Becker, also talked about how she feels about celebrating birthdays now that she’s in her seventies.

She explained that she doesn’t focus on setting goals anymore, but she’s incredibly thankful for the support she receives. She feels fortunate to still be so active and involved in life. She believes birthdays are something to be cherished, especially because many of her friends are afraid of getting older. She encourages people to embrace reaching this age, as it’s a privilege to be celebrated.
