On December 5, Ubisoft and developer Massive Entertainment plan to launch a complimentary update for the game “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora“, introducing a third-person viewpoint option and a “New Game+” mode, as stated by the companies in their announcement.
According to Massive Entertainment’s creative director, Omar Bouali, “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” has always been imagined as a dynamic environment that adapts to our players. This recent update is a tribute to the enthusiasm of our community and we appreciate our players for their backing. It truly resonates with our team.
Here are the details:
As a gamer, stepping into Pandora from a third-person view is like slipping on a fresh pair of glasses that reveal an entirely new world. Roaming across the Western Frontier, battling against RDA forces, or just taking in the breathtaking vistas – it’s all so much more immersive in this perspective. The dev team has put in a lot of work to make sure everything feels smooth and natural, from fine-tuning animations and controls to tweaking the audio and camera systems for an effortless experience.
In a refreshing twist, New Game+ provides an enhanced experience for veteran players eager to explore the depths of Pandora further. By allowing them to replay the tale from Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, they retain their equipment and abilities, encountering stronger adversaries, unlocking a novel skill progression system, and obtaining more potent gear.
The latest release coincides with additional content for “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” that becomes accessible after its debut, featuring two separate story expansions not included in New Game+.
- “The Sky Breaker,” where players join the great Na’vi games and witness the Zakru migration.
- “Secrets of the Spires, “introducing a stunning mountainous region designed to elevate the thrill of banshee flight.
After its release, various enhancements aimed at improving user experience have been introduced as well. These include an upgraded version of the Hunter’s Guide, a more fluid 40 frames per second setting, and adjusted combat mechanics for better gameplay balance.
The game titled “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” can be played right now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, personal computers through the Ubisoft Store, and Luna as well.
