The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen will conclude with its next episode, and a new trailer hints at a huge battle for Yuta Okkotsu. The anime is currently showing the Culling Game tournament, but unfortunately, this season will finish as part of the planned slowdown in anime releases for Winter 2026. However, the series intends to go out with a spectacular finale.
The first part of the Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game arc is ending with Episode 12, and it will be a special, extended episode lasting 27 minutes. That’s four minutes longer than a typical episode, and it’s needed because Yuta is about to face some of the most powerful opponents in the Sendai Colony. You can find a sneak peek at the episode with the new preview images below.
When Does Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 12 Come Out?

The twelfth and final episode of Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 1 will premiere on Crunchyroll on Thursday, March 26th at 8:30 AM Pacific Time. It will be available to viewers in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia. The 27-minute episode appears to cover the entirety of Yuta’s battle in the Sendai Colony before the season concludes.
Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen previously delivered a standout extended episode focusing on Maki’s battle with the Zenin Clan, which was already incredibly well-done. That episode featured some of the most dynamic animation in the series and adapted four chapters of the manga into a single installment. The team appears to be using a similar strategy for this current fight, and that’s a smart decision for how the anime progresses.
Will Jujutsu Kaisen Get a Season 4?

As the title Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 1 indicates, this is just the beginning of the Culling Game arc. Fans expected an unresolved ending, leaving them to wonder what would happen next in the anime. However, this longer finale seems to be addressing that concern. If the anime dedicates a full episode to Yuta’s battle in Sendai Colony, the season will end at a more natural point in the story, avoiding a frustrating cliffhanger.
This longer episode will offer a more conclusive ending to the Culling Game tournament, even though fans will still be eager to see what happens next. It also features Yuta’s most important battle yet, and if the anime handles it well, it promises to be a fantastic experience, matching the quality of the rest of the season.
