Fans can expect the final season of Tokyo Revengers later this year. It’s been three years since the last season, which covered the Tenjiku Arc. Based on the manga by Ken Wakui, originally published in Weekly Shonen Jump, Tokyo Revengers is known for having a particularly divisive ending – one that continues to spark debate. While many Shonen series face criticism for how they conclude, Tokyo Revengers’ ending has received a lot of negative reaction from fans since the manga finished in 2022. Despite the controversial conclusion, the series remains popular, and the new season, titled Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc, is on its way.
At AnimeJapan 2026, a huge anime and manga convention, the anime was unveiled. This event, held annually in Tokyo, attracts leading studios and companies – this year featuring over 120 exhibitors like Aniplex, KADOKAWA, TOHO animation, and Bandai Namco Filmworks. AnimeJapan is a major source of news and updates for fans worldwide, and this year included announcements about the popular series Tokyo Revengers.
When Is Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc Coming Out?
The new anime is scheduled to premiere in October of this year as part of the Fall 2026 season. It will be available on Crunchyroll, which also streams previous seasons. Fans will be happy to hear that the original cast and crew are returning, and new voice actors will be joining them to bring new characters to life.
I just watched the latest anime and they introduced four new characters! Takeomi Akashi will be voiced by Naoyuki Shimozuru, Wakasa Imaushi by Shinnosuke Tachibana, Keizo Arashi by Takanori Hoshino, and Hiroki Yasumoto will be bringing South Terano to life. It’s exciting to see who will be voicing them!
What to Expect From Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc

The story begins after Takemichi successfully traveled back in time and helped his gang win the fight against the Black Dragons on Christmas Eve, defeating Tetta Kisaki in the process. However, despite this victory, the present day remains troubled by new dangers. Adding to the difficulties, Izana Kurokawa sacrifices himself to save Kakucho from a bullet intended for him, and before he dies, reveals to Mikey that his connection to Shinichiro was a lie.
The upcoming final season picks up after the events of the Tenjiku Arc, with Takemichi facing the consequences of another altered timeline. Meanwhile, Mikey will make a crucial decision that will drastically impact Toman. The anime still needs to cover the Bonten Arc and the concluding storyline, which is split into two parts – Three Deities and Kanto Manji. Because there are so many chapters to cover, this season is likely to be longer than previous ones, potentially with over 20 episodes, or even be released in two parts.
