One Piece’s Elbaph Arc Still Hasn’t Fixed Luffy’s Biggest Drawback

Okay, huge warning – if you’re not caught up with the One Piece manga, especially the Elbaph Arc, you’re about to get spoiled! Things are really heating up as we move closer to the end! The Elbaph Arc is underway, and the battle against the Holy Knights and Imu is intense. Right after this arc started, the Holy Knights launched a full-on attack on the island, trying to take down the Giants. It’s clear the World Government is desperate for more soldiers as the final war approaches. These Holy Knights are ruthless – unlike the proud warriors of Elbaph, they’ll do anything to win. They even started taking children hostage to force the Giants to surrender! But then, things changed dramatically with the arrival of Luffy and Loki! Seriously, these two are a powerhouse – the strongest duo on the island, and they’re more than capable of taking on these villains!

The battle ahead will be incredibly challenging, and Luffy still struggles against strong opponents without quickly exhausting himself. While his Gear 5 gives him amazing power, it drains his energy very quickly. This limitation continues to be a problem, especially as the risks become greater.

Luffy Is Still Not Strong Enough For The Final War in One Piece

Luffy has become incredibly powerful, one of the four strongest pirates in the world, and even elite warriors avoid fighting him. Despite this strength, he’s not prepared for the upcoming Final War. When Luffy pushes himself too hard, he quickly becomes exhausted and weakened, barely able to move. He needs to eat and regain his energy to keep fighting. The battle at Elbaph has just started, and he’s already completely worn out.

Based on what happened in chapter 1178, he’s currently not strong enough to survive the upcoming Final War. The biggest battles against stronger enemies haven’t started yet, and the future Pirate King needs to figure out how to use his powerful Gear 5 ability for a longer time. Since he can already defeat someone as strong as Kaido, it’s crucial that he’s at his peak when he faces the World Government.
