I’m really excited about this week’s Japanese game releases! Two titles are really standing out to me: Darwin’s Paradox! and Super Meat Boy 3D. They’re coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC, which is awesome because it means lots of us will be able to play them.
This week also brings new releases including GRIME II (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC), RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike (PC), and Temtem: Swarm (PlayStation 5 and PC). MotionRec is coming to PlayStation 5 and Switch, and South of Midnight will be available on PlayStation 5 and the new Switch 2 console.
This week sees only two physical game releases: card versions of POOL ROOM BILLIARD and SIMPLE Series for Nintendo Switch 2 Vol.1 THE Mahjong. Both games are already available as digital downloads.
Here’s a complete list of Japanese games released this week. Just a heads-up: we earn a small commission on purchases made through Play-Asia links. Plus, you can save 5% using our coupon code: GEMATSU2025.
