Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) revealed to her family on EastEnders that she now believes Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) isn’t the father of her baby.

With Vinny getting ready to become a dad and trying to secure funding for Penny’s shop, Oscar Branning went with her to the hospital for her first ultrasound.

They then ran into Nicola Mitchell, who was also there to make sure her baby was doing okay.

The nurse showed Penny the first ultrasound picture of her baby and told her she was further along in her pregnancy than she had realized.

Just then, Vinny walked in, so Penny quickly hid her surprise. Soon, the couple were happily showing their scan photo to family and friends at The Queen Vic pub.

Jack Branning and Suki Panesar-Unwin were teasing each other about who the baby would resemble, which left Penny feeling stressed.

Vinny, after Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) interrupted his meeting with a questionable investor, assured Penny he would handle everything with complete honesty for their sake.

Penny was upset and went to the café by herself. There, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) found her and offered some comforting words after Nicola had been rather harsh.

Oscar and Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) found Penny in the Square, and she finally told them her secret.

Before she started dating Vinny, she had a brief relationship with Harry, leading people to wonder if Harry might be the baby’s father.

Will Penny come clean to Vinny?
