After last week’s initial reveal, Dealabs has now shared another PlayStation Plus Essential game that will be available in April 2026.
If you enjoy anime-inspired games, you’ll be pleased to hear that Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream is coming soon, joining the already announced Lords of the Fallen.
I got my hands on Fractured Daydream earlier this year, and it’s awesome! It’s an open-world action RPG where you can play as a ton of characters from Sword Art Online. Seriously, if you’re a fan of the series, you’ll love being able to jump in as so many different heroes.
While opinions are mixed, the game has a solid foundation built around exploring the world, finding cool items, and fighting with a team. Players can also team up online to defeat challenging bosses and participate in raid-style adventures.
Still, we seriously doubt Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream will be for everyone.
The official list of free PlayStation Plus Essential games for next month will be revealed this Wednesday, April 1st. Currently, only one game remains a secret – all the others have already been revealed online.
Just to clarify, the free games for PlayStation Plus Essential in April 2026 will be revealed next week, on Wednesday, April 1st.
April is a bit unusual this year because the first Tuesday – when new PlayStation Plus Essential games are typically announced – doesn’t fall until April 7th. This means we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out which games are coming next.
We’ve confirmed that Lords of the Fallen will be among the games released. We’ll announce the other two titles next week, so stay tuned!
Okay, so I just heard some exciting news! It looks like one of the games coming to PS Plus Essential in April 2026 has been leaked before PlayStation even announced it. I’m really curious to find out what it is!
The latest information comes from Dealabs, a very trustworthy source, and suggests that the new Lords of the Fallen – the sequel, not the original game – will be the featured title in April’s game selection.
