Scott Mills became well-known as the host of the Scott Mills show on BBC Radio 1, a role he held from 2004 to 2022. He then joined BBC Radio 2.
He started hosting the Radio 2 breakfast show earlier this year, after previously presenting the station’s afternoon program.
BBC Music Director Lorna Clarke announced to staff that Scott Mills has left his breakfast show position and the BBC. She acknowledged the news was sudden and likely came as a shock.
