Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively had some family fun under the Great White Way with their kids.
Jonathan Groff received a special audience for his last performance of Just in Time on Broadway: his partner and their three daughters, James, 11, Inez, 9, and Betty, 6, were there to see him take his final bow.
A video taken at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City on March 29th shows Ryan and his family celebrating a big win. Ryan successfully bid on the hat Jonathan wore during his last performance as Bobby Darin, paying $25,000. The money raised will go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Ryan and two of his children were seated right in front of Blake when he won the auction.
Jonathan personally delivered a hat to Ryan Reynolds, who is also a father to three-year-old Olin. Reynolds then playfully put the hat on his daughter’s head.
The family enjoyed an outing shortly after Blake Reynolds posted some personal photos from their trip to the UK with their kids. She shared a series of pictures on March 28th, including one of Ryan carrying one of their children on his shoulders.

She expressed her gratitude to Wrexham A.F.C., the players, and the stadium staff for an unforgettable experience, calling the fans – numbering around 10,000 – the best group to share such an exciting and emotional time with.
Blake, who has been married to Ryan since 2012, also playfully highlighted her sister, Robyn Lively, mentioning that people often assume a cute outfit is being photographed when it’s actually being filmed.
Ryan and Blake Lively usually keep their kids private, but Ryan often talks about how they raise them.
Speaking at the Wall Street Journal’s CMO Summit in New York City last November, the 49-year-old noted that ‘soft parenting’ – a gentler approach without a lot of yelling or punishment – wasn’t how they were raised. They also added that difficult childhoods aren’t necessary to achieve success, saying, ‘I really don’t believe you have to be damaged to create good work.’
Through it all, Ryan quipped that his kids re still finding ways to be in control.
He continued, saying he believes his children feel secure, even if they still act up. He jokingly admits they can be little terrors, and he’s not helping matters, but ultimately, they’re just kids.
