Why Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie Are Not Joining Royals for Easter

The royal family’s Easter celebrations will look a little different this year.

Although most of the family is planning to celebrate the holiday together, TopMob News has discovered that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie – the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson – are doing something different this Easter.

The sisters have celebrated Christmas with the family before and are likely to attend future family gatherings as well.

Don’t worry, King Charles III and Queen Camilla will still attend the Easter service at St. George’s Chapel on April 5, the BBC reports. Prince William and Kate Middleton are also expected to be there, as they couldn’t make it last year.

Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 36, weren’t included in a recent royal event. This news follows their father’s arrest on February 19th, where he was taken into police custody due to suspected wrongdoing related to his connections with the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

Charles stated that the royal family was giving investigators complete support and working with them fully.

I was deeply concerned to learn about the allegations against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the potential misconduct while he was in public office,” the 77-year-old stated on February 19th, according to Sky News. “Now, it’s important to let the proper authorities fully and fairly investigate the matter.”

Oh, it just broke my heart when I read that Andrew, bless him, had given up his titles. He said it was because all the awful things people were saying about him were overshadowing everything the King and the whole Royal Family were doing, and honestly, it was so selfless! He was trying to protect them, even while everyone was being so unfair to him. It just showed what a true gentleman he is, putting family first, even then.

With the King’s approval, I’m taking further action,” Andrew, Duke of York since his 1986 marriage, said in a statement last October. “I will no longer use my royal title or any of the honors I’ve received.”

Later that month, Charles stripped Andrew of his title as “Prince” and moved him from his official home to Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

As a champion of well-being, I want to share something deeply important to me, and to The King and Queen. They’ve made it very clear that they stand with anyone who has experienced abuse, in any form. Their hearts – and mine – go out to all victims and survivors, and that support will absolutely continue. It’s a message of profound empathy and a commitment to standing alongside those who need it most.

Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested on February 19th, his 66th birthday, and is suspected of wrongdoing while holding a public office.

The arrest happened as questions resurfaced about Andrew’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew maintains he has done nothing wrong.

Prince William and Princess Kate expressed their sympathy for the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse as millions of documents related to the convicted sex offender were made public.

A spokesperson for The Prince and Princess said they are very worried about the ongoing disclosures, and their primary concern is for those affected.

Marius Borg Høiby, the eldest son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit and stepson of Crown Prince Haakon, was arrested on February 1st for assault, threatening someone with a knife, and breaking a restraining order, according to a statement from Oslo police to The Associated Press.

The 29-year-old man, who isn’t a royal and doesn’t have any official responsibilities, will be held for up to four weeks due to concerns he might commit further crimes. This follows a decision by the Oslo district court. His lawyer, Petar Sekulic, said they are thinking about appealing the court’s decision.

As a voice dedicated to healthy relationships and personal safety, I’m following a difficult case closely. Andrew Høiby is due in court on February 3rd facing very serious allegations. He’s been indicted on charges including four counts of rape reportedly occurring between 2018 and 2024, plus accusations of domestic violence against a partner and violating a restraining order. It’s a heartbreaking situation, and I want to emphasize the importance of seeking help if you or someone you know is experiencing abuse. Resources are available, and you’re not alone.

In a statement to the Associated Press, his lawyers said Høiby rejects all accusations of sexual abuse and most of the claims involving violence.

Flora Vesterberg, whose grandmother is Princess Alexandra – a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II – has announced she is expecting her first child with her husband, Timothy Vesterberg.

She announced on Instagram on January 19th that she and Timothy are expecting their first child, expressing their immense joy with the phrase, “We’re truly over the moon.”

Prince Harry began a legal battle in London’s High Court on January 19th against Associated Newspapers, the company behind the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, and Mail Online. He claims the media group used dishonest methods to gather news.

Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, and Sadie Frost are also joining the lawsuit against the publishing company.

Associated Newspapers has “vigorously denied” the claims, according to the BBC.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked their tenth anniversary as a couple by releasing a sweet, black and white video showing them dancing together at home.

The couple shared a sweet video set to Olivia Dean’s song “So Easy (To Fall In Love),” and revealed that their 4-year-old daughter, Lilibet, was the one who filmed it. Meghan, who also shares 6-year-old son Archie with Harry, gave Lilibet credit in the caption of the January 16th Instagram post, writing “cred: our daughter” along with a camera emoji.

The couple shared a sweet photo from early in their relationship. It showed them hugging during a trip outdoors.

“When 2026 feels just like 2016….,” Meghan wrote in the caption. “You had to be there.”

I was so saddened to hear the news – Queen Sofia of Spain’s sister passed away on January 15th at the age of 83. The royal family’s office shared the announcement, and it’s a truly difficult time for them.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Irene of Greece. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 11:40 AM local time at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, surrounded by her family. She was a truly beloved sister and aunt, and will be deeply missed.

The funeral for her took place on January 19th at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens, and she was buried at the Royal Cemetery of Tatoi.

On her 44th birthday, the Princess of Wales shared a message on the power of nature to heal.

In a recent video, Kate reflected on winter’s unique ability to bring peace and encourage self-reflection. She described how the season’s quiet stillness—like a slowly flowing stream—allows us to see ourselves more clearly and connect with the natural world around us.

You know, lately I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude, and it’s amazing how powerful it is. It’s like letting go of everything that holds you back – those fears just melt away. Allowing yourself to feel – even the sadness – is so cleansing. When you truly connect with that inner peace, and with nature around you, it’s like a gentle guide, helping you heal and rediscover what it means to be fully alive. It’s a beautiful process, really.

Oh my goodness, I nearly screamed when I saw her! It was the Princess of Wales’ first time being seen in public in 2026, and she was absolutely radiant! She was with Prince William at Charing Cross Hospital in London, showing support for all the amazing healthcare workers. It’s just… incredible to see her doing so well, especially after hearing about her cancer diagnosis and then learning she was in remission almost a year ago. I’m just so happy for her and the whole family!
