As a huge fan of ‘The Boys,’ I was thrilled to hear from Eric Kripke that they’ve officially wrapped up post-production on the fifth and final season! It feels like a long wait has been worth it, and we’re getting closer to seeing how the whole story concludes. I can’t wait!
Eric Kripke shared a photo with the team finishing up the final touches on the last episode of ‘The Boys.’ He announced on Instagram that the show is now completely finished and has been turned over to viewers.
The news arrived just a week before Season 5 of ‘The Boys’ premieres on April 8th, showing how quickly they had to finish such a big show. Eric Kripke shared his own feelings about reaching the end, explaining that he hadn’t fully processed it until recently. He said he stayed focused on work and didn’t feel emotional like others, but felt a wave of emotion when he drove away from the set for the last time.
Kripke also took the opportunity to thank everyone who worked on the show, calling it the best professional experience of his life. He expressed both sadness that it was over and gratitude that it happened, sharing his “deepest love and thanks” to the cast, crew, and fans who were as passionate about the show as he was.
