The team behind the original Bus Simulator, Stillalive Studios, is back with a new game called Bus Bound, launching on PlayStation 5 on April 30th. They’re letting everyone know they’re still creating games!
The game will be available for a low price of $29.99 or £24.99 and offers a fresh driving experience within the changing city of Emberville.
We had a chance to try this game at Gamescom last year and were quite impressed. The city simulation felt much more detailed and complex than anything we’d seen before.
Crucially, the game will feature a bunch of licensed American buses out of the box:
Drive realistic buses modeled after popular American brands like New Flyer and Blue Bird. You’ll have 17 different buses to select from when the game launches, ensuring you’ll find the perfect vehicle for any route.
A Deluxe Edition, priced at $39.99 or £34.99, will be available with more buses. It includes the Horizon Speed 40-foot bus, three classic designs for the bus, and a ‘Bus Pass’ that unlocks three expansion packs scheduled for release later in 2026.
All pre-orders will also come with the Horizon Hydrogen 40-foot Gen2 bus and three modern skins.
We’ve always enjoyed these games, mostly because they’re funny and cleverly combine the building aspects of tycoon games with the realism of simulations.
This will be one to keep an eye on while the long wait for Euro Truck Simulator 2 goes on.
