Street Fighter is finally getting a movie adaptation, which is exciting news for longtime fans who likely remember playing the game on older TV sets.
The upcoming movie is a dream come true for fans, created through a collaboration between Capcom and Legendary. Kitao Sakurai, known for directing ‘Bad Trip,’ helms the project, with a script by Dalan Musson, who also worked on ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’ The energetic action film boasts a talented cast, including Andrew Koji and Noah Centineo.
The story in this famous video game series, which was most popular in the mid-1990s, isn’t the main focus – the exciting fights are what people remember most. Because of this, the movie adaptation will likely make some changes to the original plot.
The movie centers on Ryu and Ken, two skilled but separated martial artists, who are brought together by Chun-Li for the World Warrior Tournament—a fierce competition filled with intense battles. However, a dangerous plot is unfolding that will not only pit these fighters against each other but also force them to face their troubled histories.

Before that, she was working as a Deputy TV Editor for a major publication. She’s clearly really smart – she has a BA in English Literature and even a Master’s degree in Media & Journalism from Newcastle University.
