Hilaria Baldwin Shares Son Leo, 9, Split His Forehead Open During Trip

Hilaria Baldwin’s family getaway included a trip to the doctor’s office.

Hilaria Baldwin, known from Dancing With the Stars, shared details of a recent tropical vacation with her husband, Alec Baldwin, and their seven children. During the trip, their 9-year-old son, Leo, was injured.

Hilaria shared on Instagram how happy she was that her family joined her after her work trip. She posted a series of videos and photos showing her kids having fun at the beach and enjoying time together as a family, calling it a ‘special time’.

Hilaria shared photos and a video documenting her son Leo’s injury. The images showed his bandaged eye, and the video showed him being wheeled around in a wheelchair. Hilaria and Alec Baldwin also share six other children: Carmen (12), Rafael (10), Romeo (7), Eduardo and Maria (both 5), and Ilaria (2).

Hilaria shared that her son, Leo, needed stitches after a forehead injury. She expressed gratitude for the excellent care they received at the hospital, noting the kindness of the medical staff.

Despite Leo’s injury, Hilaria had a wonderful time at the beach with her children. She shared that they spent their days playing together and even practicing walking like crabs! She added that she had missed them terribly and was making precious memories.

Hilaria recently shared a sweet moment from her time with her family. After being away for much of March for work, she posted on Instagram on March 28th about being reunited with her husband and kids, including a picture of them enjoying time together at the beach.

Hilaria and her family are taking a new vacation shortly after she announced they’ll be leaving the Hamptons. She expressed a desire for a fresh start and a ‘reset’ in a new location, ideally on the West Coast.

She told Gurus Magazine in December that her family was planning to leave the Hamptons. They’re thinking about moving to Los Angeles to start fresh and have a new beginning.

Hilaria’s children are used to visiting California, having been there with her while she was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars and partnered with Gleb Savchenko.

Hilaria shared with TopMob News in October that her family was incredibly supportive, and her children attended every session. She said they were all very excited.

Oh my gosh, I’ve read EVERYTHING about Alec and Hilaria! Apparently, he totally spotted Hilaria Thomas at Pure Food and Wine in New York back in February 2011, and he just had to get her number. It wasn’t instant, though! They spent ages playing phone tag, trying to find a time that worked, but finally, they managed to set up a dinner date. Seriously, it’s the cutest story ever!

That August they enjoyed their first US Open together, one of Alec’s favorite events.

Alec first noticed Hilaria at an Elton John AIDS Foundation benefit in October 2011, and they began living together the next month.

Alec Baldwin and Hilaria first connected at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. He later shared that he’d been reflecting on what he wanted in a relationship after his divorce, and realized he wasn’t truly prepared to commit until he met Hilaria. He felt he had overthought things and needed the right person to feel ready to move forward.

 

In April 2012, Alec’s rep confirmed to TopMob News that he and Hilaria were engaged.

Hilaria and Ireland Baldwin often share their close friendship on Twitter. Ireland playfully tweeted she’d be a flower girl at a wedding, but she actually served as a bridesmaid.

The couple got married on June 30, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Manhattan, surrounded by their loved ones. The bride looked beautiful in a silk Amsale gown, and the groom wore a Tom Ford tuxedo.

The couple now have seven children: Carmen Gabriela (born August 23, 2013), Rafael Thomas (June 17, 2015), Leonardo Ángel Charles (September 12, 2016), Romeo Alejandro David (May 17, 2018), Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas (September 8, 2020), María Lucía Victoria (born February 25, 2021, via surrogacy), and Ilaria Catalina Irena (September 22, 2022).
