Vanessa Hudgens Shares Postpartum Hair Loss After Welcoming Baby No. 2

Vanessa Hudgens is navigating her postpartum journey.

The former High School Musical star revealed she’s been losing hair since giving birth to her daughter with Cole Tucker in November.

Oh my gosh, you guys, she finally did it! I was scrolling through her Instagram Stories today, and she posted this amazing photo – she held out her hand with a bunch of her gorgeous dark brown hair in it, and the caption just said, “And so it begins.” I seriously think it means she’s changing her hair! I’ve been following her for years, and this is HUGE. I’m already dying to see what she does next!

Even though Vanessa experienced some hair loss after giving birth – a common issue caused by changing hormone levels – her hair is still healthy and growing well.

The Spring Breakers star shared a selfie and wrote, “Having a great hair day!” She added that she was feeling good even while experiencing hair loss.

Vanessa, who shares a young son with Cole, doesn’t often share details about her children, but she does like to give her fans updates on motherhood. Recently, the actress from Bad Boys: Ride or Die showed her followers what a typical day looks like for her.

Vanessa shared a photo on Instagram from March 19th of herself relaxing on the floor with no makeup on, joking about the realities of being a mom. She captioned it, ‘Never any makeup… and always on the floor. Mom life lol.’

Becoming a mother again has been full of learning experiences for Vanessa. She’s previously said that it’s helped her learn to appreciate the present and not rush through life.

Vanessa recently told TopMob News that it’s common to get caught up thinking about the future – telling ourselves we’ll be happy when something happens, or that life will get better when certain conditions are met. However, she emphasized that true happiness isn’t about waiting for the future, but appreciating the present moment.

As for juggling it all? Vanessa is all about going her own way.

She joked that she didn’t know what ‘balance’ meant. She described life as hectic and time as valuable, explaining she tends to go all-in on whatever she’s doing. She playfully suggested that maybe that – constantly going to extremes – was her version of balance.
