KPop Demon Hunters Returns With New Animated Short

To celebrate their partnership with McDonald’s, the creators of KPop Demon Hunters have released a new animated short featuring the characters enjoying the limited-edition Huntrix and Saja Boys meals. These meals are now available at McDonald’s, and here’s how the restaurant describes them:

  • The Huntr/X Meal – A 10-piece Chicken McNuggets meal, complete with a medium drink, Ramyeon McShaker Fries, Demon Sauce and Hunter Sauce. Seasoned with a blend of soy, garlic, sesame and spice, the Ramyeon McShaker Fries are inspired by Rumi, Mira and Zoey’s go-to noodle snack.
  • The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal: A Sausage McMuffin with Egg meal. The breakfast sandwich comes topped with a peppery Spicy Saja Sauce. Hashbrowns and a small soft drink are included in the meal.

What Lies in Wait For Huntrix?

Although specific details are still under wraps for KPop Demon Hunters 2, the team behind the first game has shared some hints about what fans can expect. Producer Michelle Wong recently mentioned the possibility of delving deeper into the backstories of lesser-seen characters and creatures. She expressed interest in exploring the origins of Mira and Zoey, and in developing the relationship between Derpy and Sussie.

Maggie Chang, the creator of KPop Demon Hunters, says fans will likely have to be patient for a sequel. She explained that animation takes a significant amount of time, even though the recent awards season has been exciting. She’s eager to start working on the next project and share it with everyone.
