Dakota Johnson and Role Model are simply having a wonderful Hollywood time.
Dakota Johnson, the actress known for Fifty Shades of Grey, and musician Callum Turner, who sings “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” were spotted together leaving Paul McCartney’s concert at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on March 28th, showing their relationship is still thriving.
Dakota Johnson, 36, chose a comfortable long black silk dress for the event, which also included guests like Taylor Swift and Margot Robbie. Role Model, 28, went with a more casual look, wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.
People started speculating about a possible romance between the two in December after they were spotted looking affectionate while out with friends.
Dakota and Tucker Pillsbury, known as Role Model, appeared to confirm they were dating in January with a night out in Los Angeles. The pair, who stars in The Materialists and released the song “Deeply Still in Love,” had dinner at Saffy’s and were seen leaving hand-in-hand.
Dakota and Chris Martin were recently seen on a date, about nine months after reports confirmed they had ended their relationship. They first began dating in 2017 and got engaged privately in 2024.
Shortly after her split, Dakota discussed what she wanted in a future partner. In a June interview with Craig Melvin on Today, she simply stated she was looking for someone who wasn’t “an ahole.”
As a lifestyle observer, I’ve been following the dating scene, and it’s interesting to see how things unfold. Before his current relationship, Role Model was with Emma Chamberlain for three years, but they went their separate ways in 2023. He’s shared that a big part of that decision was his desire to move back home to Maine – sometimes life just calls you back to your roots, you know?

He said on the Zach Sang Show in 2024 that being away from home hit him really hard—it was the most homesick he’d ever felt. He was also going through a period of self-doubt, questioning a lot about his life and what he was doing.
I realized I was constantly needing to escape back home, creating distance and spending less and less time in L.A. The hardest part was, I didn’t have a clear explanation for the other person. I just desperately needed to reconnect with my friends and family and feel a sense of normal life again. I knew it would be incredibly confusing for them – they’d naturally wonder why I was pulling away, why I seemed to be avoiding them.
