As a huge sci-fi fan, I’ve seen plenty of films that leave you scratching your head, but Primer takes the cake – and that’s totally intentional. It’s a super low-budget time travel movie, but it’s not about flashy effects. It really digs into what would actually happen if you started messing with time, and honestly, it shows how quickly things would get unbelievably confusing. It feels like the movie is a step ahead of you, which is why so many of us watch it again and again, desperately trying to piece everything together.
