The manga Chainsaw Man has finished, even though many fans were hoping for a third part. Its ending is surprisingly sudden, especially considering how detailed and complex the story had become. Like some other series, Chainsaw Man might release an additional chapter to provide a more conclusive finish.
The last volume of Chainsaw Man will be released on June 4th, collecting the most recent chapters. There’s a chance this volume will also include an extra, brand-new chapter, much like My Hero Academia did – they included a chapter fans consider the ‘real’ ending, and it’s being adapted into an anime special next month. Many fans are predicting Chainsaw Man will do the same, potentially including Chapter 233 as a bonus alongside the final volume.
Chainsaw Man’s Final Volume Could Include a Special Chapter Revealing the True Ending
Online fans are buzzing about the possibility of an extra chapter being added to the series. The final volume seems shorter than usual – most volumes have around 10-11 chapters and over 185 pages, but this one only contains 10 chapters totaling 159 pages. This suggests there’s room for more content. While author’s notes and illustrations might add some length, enough space likely remains for a completely new chapter. As a result, fans are hoping for one last meaningful addition to the story before it ends.
This extra chapter probably won’t change the story dramatically, but it could add depth to the ending and answer questions fans have about the series’ rushed conclusion. Since the author has some time to work on it, it’s possible this chapter could provide a better explanation for how things ended. However, this is just speculation based on what fans want – a more satisfying conclusion to Chainsaw Man – and something the author might deliver in the final volume.
