A first look at Polaris in X-Men ’97 Season 2 has been revealed.
X-Men ’97, a continuation of the beloved X-Men: The Animated Series from the 1990s, debuted on Disney+ in 2024. The show follows iconic Marvel mutants, including Jean Grey, Cyclops, Magneto, and Professor X.
X-Men ’97 Season 2 is expected to premiere this year. A third season is already in development.
What do we see in the X-Men ’97 Season 2 art?
Artwork from the upcoming second season of X-Men ’97 has appeared online. A poster from Grupo Erik Store, revealing some of the season’s characters, was recently listed on Amazon.
The artwork offers a first glimpse of Polaris, alongside many other well-known mutants like Morph, Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Cable, Sunspot, Rogue, Forge, Bishop, Beast, Jubilee, Magneto, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, and Charles Xavier. You can see the artwork below.
Following the recent reveal of new X-Men ’97 Season 2 Funko Pop figures – showcasing “Wasteland” and “X-Corp” costumes – and the announcement of a five-issue comic bridging Season 1 and 2, Marvel Studios fans may not have to wait much longer for the first look at the next season.
Everyone knows X-Men ’97 will feature the team separated across time, battling the villain Apocalypse – a hint was given at the end of Season 1. However, the specific details of the story, which takes place in a separate timeline from the main Marvel Cinematic Universe, are still a secret.
We don’t have a specific release date for X-Men ’97 Season 2 yet, but it’s expected to premiere sometime this summer.
