The newest update for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X versions is being hailed as the game’s best addition since it launched last October.
The recent Flashpoint update to the game has made custom loadouts a better choice than the standard free kits. Now, players who build their own loadouts are more likely to start on new servers. While some players have reported occasional issues with the feature, most dedicated fans are calling it the best improvement to the game since it launched. It’s important to note that the update only makes custom loadouts more likely to appear on fresh servers, not guaranteed, which aligns with the developers’ intentions.
Arc Raiders Fans Are Happy
One Reddit user commented that the developers clearly pay attention to player feedback and genuinely try to fix problems. Another fan simply stated their appreciation for Embark Studios.
Another player shared that their friends quit the game a few months ago because, for three days straight, raids consistently started late unless they used a free starter package.
Server Issues
Regarding the recent server problems, Embark Studios is restoring lost items to players. However, items lost due to cheaters are a separate issue that’s proving difficult to resolve. There isn’t a current fix, and unfortunately, a solution may not be possible. Dealing with cheaters is a common challenge for popular games, and it’s something developers consistently struggle with.
