Since the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on February 4, 2025, players on the PS5 Pro have experienced problems with its HDR. This issue went unresolved for almost a year, but recent reports, including posts on the PS5 Pro Reddit page, indicate that it has now been fixed.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Looks Better Than Ever on PS5 Pro
The latest PS5 Pro update, PSSR 2.0, has already improved the visuals of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Now, with what appears to be better HDR support, the game looks even more impressive on the console.
One user shared a post with just a couple of photos, mentioning they had previously struggled with HDR but it seems to be working now. Another commenter jokingly complained, saying the post made them want to replay Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 after finishing the first game on the PS5.

After improvements to HDR, PS5 Pro owners are still finding that spatial audio isn’t working correctly. Interestingly, this issue affects all PS5 users, not just those with the Pro model. Overall, the PS5 Pro still offers the best console experience for this game, but the audio quality is noticeably better on the Xbox Series X, which doesn’t have this problem.
While the HDR in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 wasn’t amazing to start with, PlayStation 5 Pro owners have reported a noticeable improvement thanks to this update. Don’t expect a complete overhaul, but it is a positive change.
