Kate Middleton and Prince William are resuming a royal family tradition.
Prince William and Princess Kate, along with their children George, Charlotte, and Louis, attended the Easter service at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. This was their first public appearance as a family since 2023.
For the event on April 5th, Kate, age 44, wore a beige skirt suit and hat. Her daughter Charlotte matched in a tan coat and practical black shoes. Prince William, 43, and his sons George and Louis all wore coordinating blue suits.
TopMob News previously reported that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, would not attend this year’s service. However, King Charles III and Queen Camilla did attend, alongside Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, as well as Prince Edward and his son, James, Earl of Wessex.
This is the first time Prince William and Kate have attended the Easter service in two years. They missed the 2024 event shortly after Kate announced her cancer diagnosis, and last year they chose to stay home with their children at their country estate in Norfolk.
Kate has been honest about the changes her health issues have caused in her daily routine. She announced in January 2025 that her cancer is now in remission.

She shared on X, January 14th, that she’s relieved to be in remission and is continuing to focus on getting better. She noted that adjusting to life after a cancer diagnosis takes time, as anyone who’s been through it understands.
She added that she’s excited about the year ahead and optimistic about what’s to come. She also expressed her gratitude to everyone for their ongoing support.
Kate’s update came shortly after she visited the hospital where she received treatment.
She expressed her gratitude to The Royal Marsden for the excellent care she received over the past year. She also sent heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported both her and William through recent challenges.
