I’m so excited! The anime adaptation of Dr. Stone, based on the amazing manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi, is finally wrapping up! The third and final part of the last season just started this week as part of the Spring 2026 season. The manga finished back in 2023, and TOHO announced this final season, called Science Future, would be split into three parts. Now that the last part is streaming, I can’t wait to see how everything wraps up and all the mysteries are solved! It came back on April 2nd, 2026, and you can watch it on Crunchyroll – both subbed and dubbed! New episodes drop every Thursday at 7:00 A.M. PT, pretty soon after they air in Japan.
The latest season is now available to viewers in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. Good news for longtime fans: the original voice actors are returning! Plus, a new actor will be joining the cast to play a beloved character who’s making his first appearance. While the exact number of episodes isn’t confirmed, it’s likely the final part will have around 12, similar to previous seasons.
Dr. Stone Will Wrap Up The Story in Science Future Cour 3

The new season continues the story right after the last one, with Senku and his Kingdom of Science setting sail for North America on the Perseus. They’re on a mission to collect everything they need to build a rocket and finally face the enigmatic “Why-Man.” Their journey begins with finding key materials – things like platinum, special metals, and, crucially, corn – which sends them across the globe.
I’ve been following the story of the Kingdom of Science, and things have really evolved. They’ve overcome a lot, including dealing with Stanley’s group. Now, as the story nears its end, they’re preparing for a final showdown with the Why-Man, hoping to rebuild civilization. It’s not going to be easy though – Senku’s old mentor, Dr. Xeno, had already established a base of operations and gathered allies there. Thankfully, Dr. Xeno is now fighting alongside them, and his skills are proving incredibly valuable.
The team is almost complete, but they still need a skilled mathematician to help build their spaceship. Ryusui happens to know exactly who to ask. While the anime trailer only offers a quick look at this new character, the official website has revealed his design and hints at more information coming soon. He’s being described as the most brilliant mathematician alive.
