The new PlayStation Plus Essential games for April 2026 are now available! They’re live in the UK and Europe, and will be released in the USA later today. Here’s a look at the games for both PS5 and PS4.
- Lords of the Fallen (PS5) | Review
- Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream (PS5)
- Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered (PS5, PS4) | Review
These games will be available with a standard PlayStation Plus membership until May 5th, 2026, when they’ll be replaced with new games. If you add them to your PlayStation Network account and keep your membership active, you’ll continue to be able to play them.
Our recent poll asking about PlayStation games for the month showed a very close split in opinions. Out of over 1,100 votes, 22% of readers said they were generally pleased with the games, while another 22% expressed disappointment. An additional 22% thought the selection was poor, and 23% felt the games were just average.
Lords of the Fallen was the most anticipated game in our survey, but the Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered collection was a close second.
